Thank you Dan . . . this is the album from my plebe year. The following year I was the third trumpeter in the trumpet trio w/Terry Detwiler and Jan Betz. Besides the normal official VF album that year, we also recorded (a second separate recording the bandsmen families paid for) of The New World Symphony and Victory at Sea. I have both in very played-to-death condition if you don’t have them. Thanks for all your efforts with preserving the bands and our music from yesteryear.

Thanks for your comments! I do have a turntable and would be happy to see if they can be digitized. People here will tell you I’m slow, so be forewarned. lol… Just send me an email to DanWolfe.us@gmail.com and we can make arrangements. Dan
Dan, Thanks for the recording. I remember it seemed like an eternity when we did the recording in Mellon Hall. Duke was such a perfectionist, and that lesson was not lost in our lives.
This is great..whoever takes the time and effort of making these recordings is a fantastic person….if I could have been in the feltham era to play preferably the trombone… I would have been very grateful..
That would be me! Thank you for the kind words, sir! Enjoy the site. — Dan Wolfe, 74, 76JC
