Posted at the request of the author, James Meckley ’67. Dear Gentlemen March 28, 2017 It is going to happen. The event that many of us have been anticipating for about a year will finally take place on October 13-15, 2017. The Valley Forge Military Academy and College Band Alumni from 1949-1976 will be holding a reunion at the Crown Plaza Hotel in King of Prussia, PA for all members of the Col D. Feltham Era Reunion in 2017

Band Sir! Posted on January 31, 2017 by Dan WolfeJanuary 31, 2017

Posted at the request of the organizers. Dear Fellow Bandsmen, As some of you already know, a group of 17 VFMA Band Alumni from 1964 – 1969 got together for a small reunion in Gettysburg, PA. Many of us had not seen each other in 45-50 years. Needless to say, it was a fantastic experience and much overdue. Stories abounded and for some of us, we met bandsmen who we had not ever met in person. It will be a weekend that we will treasure. During the weekend, we talked about continuing the band reunions and about who should be … Get your chin in and keep reading…

  • Comment on Dan’s Favorite Marches by JEFF CHRISTOPHER March 9, 2025

Aufwarts translated from German, I believe, means “Upward”, which is the name of the March we played way back then! I remember playing it […]
