Goodness. Yet another amazing band. Wonder if any bandsmen performed in more than 2 recordings over 26 years? Likely, given oberlapping years of membership.
Odd that year of recording wasn’t posted on most recordings….obviously not “Best of…”
Dan, given Mr. Johnston’s observation that he listens to recordings on your site—and the site is yours—a testimony to your passion for the Band, Bandsir.com—plans for future site administration? Thanks so much.
I haven’t yet made any decisions about future hosting and maintenance of the site. Now that I am graduated from college (again!), I will have more time to devote to finding a more permanent solution.

When I graduated in 1967 my father bought a copy of every album that “Joe the Boodler” had in stock. So glad I was able to find these latest two that were not on BandSir. Dan did a wonderful job digitizing these and they sound just great. Amazing that the bands from 1957, 1967 and 1977 all sound terrific. Another testament to The Duke. Hope all our old comrades from the past enjoy these.
