Not Marches: Tracks I Like
Back in this post, I listed some of my favorite marches that are on the site. I got a lot of positive feedback on the playlist idea and so I thought I’d do it again.
While there are no marches on this list, there’s a lot of great music and these are some of my go-to’s that I click on when I am looking for someting nostalgic and fun.
Send your favorite playlist that you’d like to share and I’ll post it along with any notes you’d like to make. Email address is BandSir.com@gmail.com.
Enjoy!
Dan
Cadet David Hemberger, Soloist, Portrait of a Trumpet
Cadet 1st Lieutenant John Stuck, Soloist, Annie Laurie
William Daggett, Alumni Soloist, Bluebells of Scotland
Cadet Master Sergeant Brian Cable, Ballet Music from Prince Igor

What quality!!!!! WOW!
Great choices, Dan. Some of my very favorites are on there. One hell of a band, wasn’t it? Personnel changed every year, but it didn’t matter. The BAND was always the very best.
OMG, Bill Daggett was a good player in our band but I didn’t realize how good. Holy Mackerel. What year was that recorded.. He was a funny guy and had a great sense of humor when jumping on us Plebes… lol
That recording was made in spring of 1973.
