I checked my 79-80 and 80-81 yearbooks…I *think* this was October 1980 of the 80-81 school year, not the fall of 79 as cadet Alexander, who played the post horn with cadet Spinder was not in the Band in 1979-80.

WOW !! That was mesmerizing. Does it get much better than that ? Makes me wonder how my years (’71 – ’74) compared. Great British style Drum Major !! Everyone of those Bandsmen should be extremely proud of themselves. Thanks for sharing.

Wow. This brings back a flood of memories for me. I graduated JC in ’77 so I’m sure I knew most of these cadets. Great Job by all. Thank you Col. Haught for sharing and a big thank you to Dan for sharing it with us here. I sent it to my brothers and sisters to appreciate as they watched many performances and reviews at VFMA back in ‘75-‘77
